The shortlists have been announced for the Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards, and Guild members are well represented in several categories:
In the Food Book category Niki Segnit has been shortlisted for her book Lateral Cooking (Bloomsbury Publishing).
Sybil Kapoor’s book Sight Smell Touch Taste Sound: A New Way to Cook (Pavilion) has been shortlisted in the Cookery Book category.
In the Debut Drink Book category Kate Hawkings has been shortlisted for her book Aperitif (Quadrille)
Two members are on the Food Writer shortlist: Clare Finney for her work published on Foodism and in Market Life (Borough Market); and Hattie Ellis for her work published in The Field.
Another two members are on the Cookery Writer shortlist: Ed Smith for his work published in Market Life (Borough Market); and Olivia Potts for her work published in Spectator Life and on theguardian.com.
The category winners will be announced at a reception at Fortnum & Mason on Thursday 16 May.
