Guest Chef for Viking

Karen Burns-Booth has been a guest chef (consultant chef) for Viking Cruises on two recent World Cruises. Working alongside a team of chefs and cooks in the galley onboard the Viking Sun, she and her team prepared and cooked her five-course guest menu for up to 120 covers a night in the Chef's Table restaurant.

The two special menus she designed to represent the British Isles were extremely well received, and were subsequently used regularly on board all of the sea-going Viking ships. The menus represent the historical richness of British food and its heritage. 

She has also written and created numerous other regional recipes and menus for many travel magazines, including the current issue of The World of Cruising, where she is the only female chef featured.
