Guild Fellowship Fund: New Mexico

Adrienne Katz Kennedy who was one of the recipients of a bursary from the Guild’s Fellowship Fund in 2019 has sent us an update on the progress of her research into the food and culture of New Mexico: ‘Although much of my work and of course my trip this month (which much of my work rested on) has been postponed, I recently had a small bit of my work on New Mexican culture and cuisine published in It’s Freezing in LA!.

‘As they are an independent bi-annual magazine on climate change, currently struggling with sales (like many) given the current climate, I am hesitant to share the full article out of integrity. I didn’t use any of the actual grant money for this research as I was thankfully able to do it all remotely, but it is relevant to the subject that you so generously supported.’
