Joy Skipper has just won Anglia Ruskin University's Big Pitch 2020 competition, with Gather & Feed, a social enterprise which brings together artisan and small food producers from around the UK to one website, with a percentage of profits going towards setting up and running community kitchens, where volunteers will hold cooking lessons and feed people in need from surplus food donated from supermarkets. The hope is to feed great British food to a wider audience, whilst helping to address food poverty and food waste. Joy is presently studying part-time for an MSc in Sustainability at Anglia Ruskin University.
