The Guild of Food Writers invites you to a very special tutored tasting from world expert on chocolate, Chantal Coady OBE. 

Chantal Coady is the founder and owner of The Chocolate Detective and is joint owner of an organic cocoa farm in Grenada, and a Director of the Grenada Chocolate Company. She is the former owner and founder of Rococo Chocolate, and winner of a Guild of Food Writers Award.

This tutored chocolate tasting will offer an introduction to chocolate, and its history, from tree to bar. Chantal will talk about her life in chocolate, the joys, the challenges and her mission going forward.

Tickets cost £43 and the ticket price will include a mystery tasting box, posted to your home address, which will contain at least 5 individually wrapped, numbered samples and a 6th surprise to taste. It will also contain instructions on how to set up your tasting and a downloadable tasting mat. 

Registration and payment is required by Monday 29 November at 12 midday at the latest to that postage can be arranged. Due to postage restrictions, we regret that UK members only will be able to receive a tasting box.

Due to copyright, we will not be recording this session. 

The talk and tasting is expected to last around an hour.
