Celia Brooks

Celia Brooks is a Colorado-born chef, food writer, TV presenter and businesswoman who's been a Londoner since 1989. Starting out as a private chef for film director Stanley Kubrick, she went on to author 9 cookbooks. Her newest book, “SuperVeg: The Joy & Power of the 25 Healthiest Vegetables on the Planet" was published in 2018 by Murdoch Books in the UK, USA, Australia and Holland. She founded and runs the original London food tour business, Gastrotours. For 15 years, she held the only license to run tours at Borough Market, and now shares that license with a few select others. She writes regularly for the Borough Market website and does cookery demos there. Recent TV appearances include James Martin’s Saturday Morning series.
