I am a writer, editor and food consultant with a special interest in nutrition, fitness, edible gardening - and chocolate. After training as a journalist on regional weekly and daily newspapers I have worked as a freelance writer for national consumer newspapers and magazines, specialising in food, health and well-being, plus recipe development. I am also an organiser and sensory evaluation expert (taster!) for new products and national food and drink awards. I have wine tasting qualifications, and have also written about edible gardening from practical experience of being an allotment holder.

Special subjects

Food, health, well-being, fitness, edible gardening, weight loss. Author of 25 cookery, diet and health books, several of which were award-winning.
