Deirdre Taylor

I am professional home economist with over 30 years experience. My skills includes food and recipe development, food styling, cooking and equipment demonstrations. I also deliver consumer advice for all aspects of the home, including cleaning, selecting and using appliances and gadgets. I have written for a range of magazines, websites and books. I regularly contribute to Good Housekeeping magazine, and have also headed up the consumer testing side of the Good Housekeeping Institute.

Special subjects

Microwave and combination cooking, (six books), , Steam Oven cooking and sous vide. Product, food testing and evaluation, ( 10 years experience with Good Housekeeping Magazine).
