My name is Flavel and I live in Dubai. Been publishing a culinary magazine WG since 2014. 2020 was a culinary book year, releasing two print books – Thought Process in February, an eBook Come Together - The World’s Finest Chefs on Easter Sunday to put smiles on people’s faces and support chefs around the world. The eBook went on to receive the 2020 Spring Harvest Award by Gourmand World Cookbook. I then published and co-authored the first-ever eBook Home Comforts in July with The World’s 50 Best Restaurants & Bars and later went on to author Cuisinero - Taste The Philippines, elevating Filipino cuisine where all proceeds were donated to the Philippine International Aid to support the education of children. The eBook went on to receive the 2020 Summer Harvest Award by Gourmand World Cookbook. In October, I released The Best of Dubai: A Dining Experience as an eBook and in print, the book went on to receive the 2020 Winter Harvest Award by Gourmand World Cookbook and on 4 April 2021, Easter Sunday I released The Best of Dubai: The Dining Destination. Currently, 5 of the books are finalists in 6 categories for 2021 Best in the World by Gourmand Awards. A recipient of the Independent Publishers Award for his book Coffee - Absolute Gastronomy and was awarded the 2019 Best Book in the World by Gourmand World Cookbook Awards for the category coffee. His book Legacy also received the 2019 Best Book in the World by Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.
