Top Award for Barbara Segall

Barbara Segall, who is one of several Guild members who is ‘ambidextrous’ in the worlds of food and gardening, has been awarded the Chartered Institute of Horticulture‘s top honour, the President’s Award. ‘Every year the President of the CIH chooses an individual who, in their opinion, epitomises the term horticulturist. Someone who has a true passion for the industry and everything it stands for and someone who has actively made a positive impact and given their life to horticulture. The winner of the award receives a commemorative plaque at the CIH Annual General meeting to demonstrate their invaluable contribution to this immensely important industry. I was delighted to receive this during the Institute’s AGM, held on Zoom in late September.’
