I am an editor and journalist with over 10 years experience specialising in sustainable food, farming and ethical business. I started my career as a staff writer at leading trade magazine Fresh Produce Journal, before freelancing for publications including the Guardian, Huffington Post, Veggie Magazine and The Ecologist. I also co-founded and presented a new food podcast, Who Gives a Fork, with fellow journalist and friend Jez Fredenburgh as we travelled around South and Central America visiting producers. In 2018, I joined Riverford to set up and edit a new magazine - Wicked Leeks. Outward-facing, the magazine takes food as the starting point for discussions about culture, the environment, health, business, politics and beyond.
I have in-depth knowledge of food supply chains from the producer and farmer right through to logistics, retail, consumer trends and research, as well as insight into sustainability issues shaping food and other parts of our consumer lifestyles.

I edit Wicked Leeks, a weekly online magazine with a quarterly print edition. I write much of the magazine alongside commissioning and working with a pool of brilliant freelancers - and I'm always keen to hear from new writers.
Shortlisted in the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards 2020 in Best Food Magazine. Highly Commended in The Drum Awards for Content 2020 in Best Media Outlet.
While retaining editorial independence, Wicked Leeks is proudly and transparently published by organic veg box company Riverford.
