Vritti Bansal

I'm a journalist and editor from India, currently pursuing an MPhil in Intercultural Theology and Interreligious Studies. My research interests include the way cultural memory and religious identity are linked through food. A 2012-13 alumnus of the University of Westminster M.A. Creative Writing: Writing the City programme, I have specialised in food and travel writing. I have also launched a food magazine called Binge (www.binge.co.in), before which I served as the Food & Drink Editor for India Today Digital and Time Out magazine in New Delhi. As a freelancer, I have written for National Geographic Traveller India and the Indian Express, a well-known newspaper in India.
