The Guild of Food Writers is the UK’s professional association of food writers and broadcasters and the annual Awards are one of the highest accolades in food media. They celebrate the very best in professional food writing, broadcasting and publishing. The event is attended by 300 guests and in previous years included Rick Stein Heston Blumenthal, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Nigella Lawson, and Yotam Ottolenghi.
Lead sponsorship of our prestigious annual awards, held in London in June, gives your brand the highest level of exposure and opportunity to engage with 300 award nominees, Guild members and influencers. Previous sponsors have included Tenderstem® and Quality Meat Scotland. We aim to secure a three year partnership for Lead Sponsorship and are open to discussions about sponsorship for 2020-2022 to include our major celebration of our 25th Awards in 2022.

We offer sponsorship of 13 awards categories with exclusivity in your sector. Each year we receive hundreds of entries from the country’s top food writers, journalists and broadcasters. Sponsors are invited to the Awards to celebrate with the shortlistees, judges and winners and benefit from branding and recognition in all Awards communications throughout the year.

Other Sponsorship Opportunities
Write It is the Guild’s competition for young food writers. The competition encourages children from three age groups (10 and under, 11–14 and 15–18) to capture one of their favourite food experiences on the page. Write It was established in 2008 and has seen prestigious names from the Guild’s membership judge entries from more than 1,000 aspiring food writers. Write It has been sponsored by Pink Lady® since 2017.
