I am a Malaysian born and moved to the UK in 1994 to further my study in Quantity Surveying. After graduated and worked for 10 years in the construction industry, I gave up my full time job to follow my passion to become a chef in 2006. Since then I achieved many things such as hosting my own TV shows (for Malaysian TV), written a few cookbooks with Amazing Malaysian (Published by Square Peg in 2016), cookery class teacher at top cookery schools in the UK and Netherlands and in 2021 I have been appointed as Adjunct Lecturer for Malaysian based Taylor's University specialised in Hospitality & Management Courses.
