Limor Chen

I am the co-founder of the Delamina restaurant group in London, serving eastern mediterranean fusion cuisine in Marylebone and Shoreditch, and soon in Soho. As Executive Chef, I am the driving force behind the menu, drawing on my heritage — born in Tel Aviv to a family of middle eastern and European origin — and inspired by my father, a passionate cook who exposed me to the myriad flavours, herbs and spices of the region. My recipes are influenced by my interest in healthy eating – grilling, roasting and using herbs and spices to celebrate the raw ingredients. My first book, "My Tel Aviv Table: A Journey of Flavours and Aromas from a Sun-soaked City" is being published this November by Nourish Books and is a collection of healthy, accessible recipes packed with the flavours, aromas and stories of Tel Aviv. It has been endorsed by Claudia Roden, who said "Limor's beautiful book bursts with exciting combinations and enticing flavours". The book has been selected by Publishers Weekly top-10 Food & Cookery Picks for 2023. I am also an established artist, having graduated with an MA in Fine Art under the tutelage of Sonia Boyce. Over the past few years I've worked primarily with organic materials and found objects, working for exhibitions and commissions www.LimorChenArt.com
