The first awards have been made in this inaugural year of the Fellowship Fund, an offshoot of the Guild’s Benevolent Fund. The former is designed to help members with developing or launching individual research projects, and we are delighted to announce the £2,000 bursary has been divided equally between Chloë King and Annabel Jackson for, respectively, their ongoing work on the culture and heritage of the Portuguese ‘alheira’ sausage, and the culinary influence of the Portuguese in Asia and intra-Asia culinary conversations, respectively.

We wish them all the best and look forward to bringing you the multi-media results of their research.
