Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards 2020 Shortlists
Now in its fifth year, the prestigious Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards exist to champion the very best travel writing in the world and this year’s shortlists include both multi-award winning titles and debut authors with books that will both stimulate thought and inspire travel, while bringing lesser-known parts of the world sharply into focus. The awards are presented in ten awards categories and there are two Guild members on the shortlist for the Travel Cookery Book of the Year:
- Fire Island: Recipes from Indonesia by Eleanor Ford (Murdoch Books)
- Bazaar by Sabrina Ghayour (Mitchell Beazley)
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the London Transport Museum on Wednesday 26 February, which will be compered by former Countryfile and Wish You Were Here presenter and author Julia Bradbury.
