Festive Flavours
‘This idea had been lurking in my head for a while, as I liked the idea of matching colours and flavours for Christmas – a real blend of food and art. It wasn’t until I was half way through the drawing that I sensed the ‘flavour’ bit should be brought out more. That is when juicy seeds began popping out of the pomegranate shell, the chocolate bar was grated, pistachio nuts chopped, spices ground and a glass of mulled wine gave off its warm, steamy aroma.’
