Pancake Pile Up
‘This drawing was an experiment for Pancake Day, to present an image in a way that would combine the three things I love – drawing, writing, creating recipes. While working at Good Food Magazine I developed an American-style Blueberry pancake recipe (maybe not this one, but close enough). At the food shoot, stacking up the pancakes became a careful balancing act, as the syrup temptingly trickled its way down. I hoped to convey some of that drama.’
