Pea Podding Time
‘Working on these monthly drawings for the Guild has given me an opportunity to try out different artistic styles. An artist I often refer to for inspiration is Howard Tangye. I admire his use of line and how he designs his images with spaces both filled and unfilled, and the mystery that conveys. So I used this idea to try and convey the plumpness of fresh peas in their pods.’
