Time for a Catch-Up?
‘I wanted to include something fish related for one of the summer months. So I began by drawing lines of simple fish shapes swimming along. When I turned one of the fish around so that two faced each other, the whole concept changed. I started to draw bubbles in one by one – visible in the crystal clear water – to denote the two were in conversation. That seemed to fit in. As June is GFW’s Awards month, that’s what the drawing became about – friends and colleagues catching up with each other – in a fishy kind of way.’
