Priya Mani

I am a designer and cultural researcher working to create gastronomical experiences. I grew up in India and studied at the National Institute of Design. In my carrier, over the past 20 years, I have pursued the craft of culture, through food, technology and textiles. I am particularly interested in the human factor and has worked for over a decade in the area of design and innovation across industries. Recent samples of my writing in Whetstone, Water the Elixir of Taste for The Common Table, The Taste of the Talk for Imminent & Proceedings of the Oxford Symposium on Food & Cookery, (2020, 2021, 2022) I am a contributing writer to the Companion to Indian Food and I am currently working on a Visual Encyclopaedia of Indian Foods. I live and work in Copenhagen, Denmark.
