In the last few years I have been working in the social and historical fields of food. I authored Food on Foot: A History of Eating on Trails and in the Wild. I live in Verona.

I organize culinary workshops in Italy, combining a learning objective (history, writing, art, etc.) with food tourism, including lectures, visits to producers and hands-on activities, in an aesthetically pleasing and historically relevant setting.
