I am a freelance PR consultant, food blogger and content creator based in Cardiff. I am passionate about local, sustainable food, and work with a hand-picked client list which includes food festivals and cooperatives, top chefs, local producers and independent restaurants. Throughout the pandemic, I supported the Welsh Independent Restaurant Collective with media relations on behalf of their 400+ member hospitality businesses in Wales.
I have also supported Food Cardiff with the development of the 'GoodFoodCardiff' movement which aims to create a fairer, more sustainable food system in the city, and was recently appointed to their strategy board.
Alongside my ‘day job’ in communications, I write an award-winning food blog with a sustainable focus called 'HungryCityHippy'. As a result, I have also been commissioned as a freelance food writer to create content for publications and brands including Visit Wales, Wales Online, Range Cookers, Love Food Hate Waste, Cardiff Farmers Markets and Nine MSN.
