I am a chemistry graduate who became interested in finding new ways to recreate familiar foods to suit specialist diets (allergies, coeliac disease and vegan). For 12 months I had a regular weekly recipe column with the Guardian and have written two books: Gloriously Gluten Free and Sensationally Sugar Free. I am currently a patron of the Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards. Currently working as a short film producer, I also have extensive experience as a web designer, journalist and magazine editor.
