Charlotte Smith-Jarvis

I have dreamt and written about food since I was a child…flicking through Mum’s battered copy of Larousse and the ubiquitous (in the 90s) Australian Women’s Weekly birthday cake book.
I started developing recipes as young as 10-years-old and was lucky enough to carve out a career in regional journalism as a group features and food editor, overseeing our food review team, carrying out product reviews, creating and styling recipes, interviewing producers and chefs, and writing on food and travel.
I’m now seeking new opportunities in a world that I love, from freelance projects for websites, newspapers and magazines, to ghost writing cookery books.
