I've been writing about food and drink, starting with a blog, now as a freelance writer, for about five years. My main profession is in the drinks industry, where I write about beer, cider and natural wine, mostly from cultural and historical angles. I live in Clitheroe, Lancashire (where all the gastro pubs seem to be) and I'm about to open a bar - Corto - in the same town.
