Le Cordon Bleu London are pleased to announce we will be hosting an exciting evening of Asian Spirits and Food Matching on Thursday 14th April 2022 featuring alumna Marie Cheong Thong and Chef Taipo Wong.
Marie graduated from Le Cordon Bleu London in 1988 and has gone on to forge a rich career in wine and beverage education. She holds several impressive positions in the wine and beverage world, including chairman of the British Sake Association and certified educator for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and the Sake School of America.
Taipo Wong is a much in demand private chef and supper club host. He has a wealth of experience in top kitchens all over the world, including executive chef at Sushi Samba, head chef at Harrod’s kitchens and Annabel’s in London.
For this event, Chef Taipo will be demonstrating three Asian dishes, which Marie will pair with sake, shōchū and baijiu.
The event is free to attend in person or online but registration is mandatory.
