I am Publisher at Prospect Books, and have been since 2014, when I took over from Tom Jaine. The food history list is thriving, with new authors each year as well as new books from existing authors. I am enjoying experimenting with new cookery skills, as we publish books on baking, vintage breadboards, quince, gingerbread, berries, jam making, and of course, historical recipes.
Historical cookery. We thrive on unusual subject matter for books on food; eg: damsons, quince, elder, original Chinese cookery from the sixth century, and sixteenth century Persian recipes. Our remit is wide and we are open to new ideas.
