I started The Slimming Foodie blog in 2015, sharing healthy, lower calorie recipes. My focus has always been practical, in helping new cooks to gain confidence in cooking from scratch, and provide easy, healthy family-friendly recipes for day-to-day cooking. My first book, The Slimming Foodie, was published by Aster, an imprint of Octopus in April 2021, and was a Sunday Times Bestseller. My 2nd book, The Slimming Foodie in One was published in April 2022 and was a number 1 Sunday Times Bestseller. My 3rd book, The Slimming Foodie in Minutes was published in April 2023. Two more books are following in April 2024, and April 2025. I live on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon with my husband and daughters, and spend my time creating recipes for the books or blog, shooting videos for my social media channels, and working with brands. My husband is a professional filmmaker so we often work together on projects.
