Sarah Rankin

I am a MasterChef finalist who made the move from Marketing Consultant to food writer in 2022. My main focus is on Scottish flavours and produce and celebrating Scottish food producers. I write regular columns for DC Thomson in the Courier and The Press and Journal as well as broadcasting, chef demonstrations, private dining, supper clubs and food festival appearances. I'm a regular contributor on the Morning Show on BBC Radio Scotland. I was nominated in the Food Influencer category at the 2022 Scottish Influencer Awards and will be hosting the 30th Golden Spurtle World Porridge Championships in October 2023 after appearing as a judge in last year's competition.
