Heather Taylor

I’m a food editor, writer and journalist who's been in the industry for over a decade. As Food Editor at M&S, I am responsible for leading an editorial team working across print and digital channels to create industry-leading food content, including launching and editing M&S Food magazine and Christmas brochure. From interviewing a scallop-diver in Orkney to writing a recipe for the ultimate Christmas leftovers sandwich, my days (and nights!) revolve around food. I publish a weekly newsletter on Substack, The Frazzled Cook, in which I share recipes created with real life in mind and stories about cooking as a new mum. I have a solid background in print and digital journalism, having worked as a staff writer for a bestselling magazine published by Jamie Oliver, where I wrote long-form food and travel features, restaurant roundups, producer profiles and more. I've written about food and travel for London Evening Standard, Mr Porter, National Geographic Food and The Independent.
