Ned Palmer

I have been a cheesemonger for twenty years. First at Neal's Yard Dairy and then with my own company, The Cheese Tasting Company that offers cheese tastings for private and corporate events. My first book A Cheesemonger's History of the British Isles was published by Profile Books in October last year, and was recently shortlisted for the André Simon prize. My agent is currently drawing up the contracts with Profile for my second book which will explore the cheeses of France. I have degrees in philosophy and literature, theatre practice and experimental psychology.
