Lucy Burney

I am qualified in both nutritional therapy and functional medicine and have many years experience in the industry. I am the author of four books on children’s health, Optimum Nutrition for Babies and Young Children, Boost Your Child’s Immune System, Immunity Foods for Healthy Kids and Superfoods for Healthy Kids. I originally trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and then went into private practice in London, working alongside doctors and other complementary medicine practitioners. I have written for and appeared in both national and regional newspapers and magazines. I was a regular columnist for publications Natural Parent, Allergy and the Tesco Baby Club and have made appearances on both national radio and TV. During lockdown in 2020, I returned to writing, focusing largely on an instagram page @lucyburneynutrition which combines my love of nutrition, health and photography. I am currently working on new book projects and have been commissioned to write a health blog for a baby company. I am loving my involvement in recipe development for a number of brands and wish to expand this further. I live in Hampshire with my husband and four children.
