New Sussex B&B

GFW member Sarah Giles has just opened a lovely self-contained B&B suite in the village of Northiam, East Sussex. Fellow Guild member Barbara Segall tried out the suite as a ‘guinea pig’ recently, and was very complimentary about it! There’s a double room with direct access to the garden, sitting room with dining area and a private bathroom, and the suite is separated from the main part of the house so it’s all yours to enjoy while you’re there! As well as a lovely breakfast menu, Sarah also offers optional evening meals (and there are good pub restaurants nearby). The B&B is in lovely countryside, with Rye and Winchelsea Beach within easy reach. And for those GFW members who love gardening as well as food, it’s in the same village as Great Dixter – it would be the perfect place to stay if you’re going to their famous Autumn Plant Fair this year (Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 October) and want to make a weekend of it.

The usual room rate is £100 per night including breakfast.
